About the Role
Were seeking a Multifamily Construction Superintendent who thrives in fast paced environments, takes ownership, and leads from the front. This role is ideal for a field leader who understands how to manage large scale ground up multifamily projects from start to closeout, and who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall field leadership and daily execution of construction activities on assigned projects. You will manage all on-site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to PacifiCap Constructions quality standards.
What Youll Be Doing
Oversee all daily field operations, coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment to meet the construction schedule.
Lead, direct, and manage all subcontractors and self-perform crews to ensure scope, safety, and quality requirements are met.
Develop and maintain 4 week look ahead schedules and ensure alignment with the master project schedule.
Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify deviations, and ensure timely corrective actions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite at all times.
Enforce safety policies and procedures in strict accordance with PacifiCaps Safety Program and OSHA standards.
Proactively review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure field work aligns with design intent and contract documents.
Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, providing accurate updates on progress, manpower, schedule risks, and upcoming needs.
Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and daily huddles to promote clear communication and accountability.
Ensure quality control through continuous inspection, testing verification, and punch list management.
Coordinate with inspectors, owners, and consultants to ensure all inspections and testing requirements are met.
Maintain accurate daily logs, photographs, and field reports within Procore.
Serve as the critical link between the field and project management teams, ensuring proactive communication and operational alignment
Support the project closeout process by verifying completion of all punch items, as-builts, and warranty deliverables.
What You Bring
Minimum 8+ years as a lead superintendent on ground-up multifamily projects.
Strong knowledge of multifamily construction methods, sequencing, and logistics.
Proven ability to manage 20+ subcontractors / trades on a single project.
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, P6, and field reporting tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, coordination skills, and proactive building approach.
OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
Must be willing to be boots on the ground daily.
Willingness to travel as needed.
