Fresh Tracks seeks an entry-level, full-time video editor at our Bozeman, MT office. The role involves transforming raw footage into compelling content on tight deadlines. The editor will have creative freedom to produce entertaining and educational content.

MISSION AND VISION

The mission of Fresh Tracks is to create compelling outdoor media inspiring hunters to advocate on behalf of wild things and wild places. Our vision is a hunting community that is respected, informed, engaged, and works to conserve the resources essential to hunting.

ROLE OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

Edit video content for all Fresh Tracks distribution platforms
Create social reels and YouTube shorts from content of larger projects
Adhere to brand standards for various types of content
Bring ideas for new content and stories
Help with written content for use on websites, email campaigns, and social media
Assist in creating graphics for promotional material

REQUIRED SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop

Ability to effectively mix sound from multiple sources in a video edit

Knowledge of basic color grading and color matching from a variety of camera sources

Ability to utilize text and motion graphics templates within Premiere Pro

Exceptional data organization and management skills

Manages multiple concurrent projects and delivers on schedule.

DESIRED SKILLS

Demonstrated skill in editing episodic content

Ability to create motion and still graphics with Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of how to export videos for distribution outlets including YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

Ability to correct and mix field sound that may be recorded in harsh environments

A passion for public land

Knowledge of Western big game hunting
