Job Description

Position : CNC Estimator

Location : Tulsa, OK

Pay : $60,000 to $70,000 / year (Depending on experience)

Experience : 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, cost estimating, or a related manufacturing environment.

Education : Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial.

Type : Full-time; Contract

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a CNC Estimator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description :

• Estimate labor hours and material costs for manufacturing activities tied to proposals and contracts.
• Apply established pricing methodologies and estimating tools to produce detailed, data-driven cost projections.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Customer Program Managers to develop comprehensive labor hour estimates.
• Collaborate with vendors and the Purchasing Manager to build consolidated, priced Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to determine machining and manufacturing requirements.
• Develop and maintain time standards for CNC and manual machining processes, including setups and run times.
• Support bid preparation, vendor / subcontractor evaluation, and cost-effectiveness analysis.
• Maintain the estimating database and ensure the accuracy and consistency of cost data for future use.
• Prepare written estimates and present cost findings and recommendations to management.
• Continuously refine estimating practices based on production feedback, performance data, and industry benchmarks.
