Responsibilities This is a centralized float pool position with assignments across Med / Surg and Tele units Work may take place at any facility within a 60-mile radius of the float zone's city center Patient population includes adult med / surg and telemetry cases Assignements will vary and may include duties outside the original assignment requirements as per policy 12-hour night shifts are required EPIC is used for documentation and charting Care for diverse adult patients across multiple units within designated float zones Responsibilities include assessment, developing care plans, medication administration, wound care, catheterization, and patient education Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary health care team Delegation to non-RN personnel is expected according to policy Continuous education and professional development are encouraged Participation in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities is expected Must adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards Travel assignments not open to local candidates within 60 miles Requirements Active RN license in Colorado or a compact NLC state is required and must be in hand Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current AHA certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Minimum of one year RN experience preferred Must be able to float to multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius Experience in med / surg and telemetry settings preferred Must reside outside the 60-mile radius from the float zone city center Flu vaccination required during flu season, with medical exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621564.
