job_description.job_card.job_descriptionIn-house call coverage : 8 PM 8 AM (must be within 30 minutes of the facility). Coverage Requirements : Includes weekend and on-call responsibilities. 49 total beds with 7 ED beds. No ICU coverage required. ED annual volume : 7,452 patients. Average patient load : 1-8 per shift. Hospitalists are expected to intubate with assistance from the ED physician. Admission rate : 10%. Active Texas medical license and DEA. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. ACLS, PALS, and DEA certification. Ability to perform intubations. Clean malpractice and background record. The hospital is located a short drive from Beaumont, TX, and is easily accessible from surrounding metropolitan areas. A virtual interview with site medical leadership will be required. Competitive hourly rates (including holiday and overtime pay). Malpractice coverage provided. Assistance with travel and lodging as needed.
