Overview :
Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult / geriatric patients.
Qualifications :
Education : Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Licensure : Current Oklahoma RN License
Certifications : BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
Other : Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager / Education Coordinator.
