We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Firewatch Shipyard Help. As a Firewatch Shipyard Help, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the shipyard by monitoring hot work activities and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor hot work activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards
  • Conduct fire prevention inspections and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist in the implementation of emergency procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements : Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a shipyard or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of fire prevention and safety procedures
  • Basic understanding of hot work activities and associated hazards
