This is a technician position supporting in-development test processes for optical module prototypes. It involves working closely with the development team to operate test processes, both as part of the early stages of manufacturing and for R&D purposes.

Responsibilities :Perform electrical and optical tests on prototype hardware using automated test fixtures.Carefully observe protocols on safe hardware handling to avoid damaging material, with a particular emphasis on ESD mitigation.Follow detailed procedure documents and process flows that are in-development and will require regular retraining as processes mature.Learn usage of basic software tools to track line flow and individual part status.Perform basic triage of failures with guidance from engineering.Support requests to move and reconfigure hardware for R&D use.Keep prototype hardware organized and easy to inventory.Assist with maintenance of test equipment as needed and provide prompt feedback if suspected issues are observed.Education and Skill RequirementsAS in Electronics / Electronic Technology or equivalent experience requiredESD safetyFiber handlingProcess executionAdditional Desired SkillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a flexible team environment is essentialMicrosoft Office experienceOrganized and strong attention to detailsJob Type : Temp-to-hire
Pay : $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
