Position : Scientist II (Bioassay)

Location : Woburn, MA (ON-SITE)

Salary :  Within the range of $70,000 to $85,000 per year dependant on experience.

Job Overview :

Scientist II specialising in Bioassays is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in leading the technical aspect of Development and Validation of new assays and will work as part of a team to complete client / Sponsor driven projects.

Responsibilities :

• Performing Sample analysis following established SOPs.
• Performing RUO and GxP assays independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participating in Development and Validation of new assays.
• Serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) as needed in accordance with the individual's area of expertise.
• Authoring and / or reviewing protocols and reports as required.
• Performing data processing and data review
• General laboratory tasks including buffer preparation, sample logging and handing, shipping samples to or for clients, equipment maintenance, lab maintenance, and ordering supplies.
• Providing technical assistance to assigned research staff.
• Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc.
