Overview
At TelCom Construction, as an Underground Construction Superintendent on our team, this position will oversee productivity and quality of work on daily operations and projects of multiple crews. This role coordinates with the Supervisor or Outside Plant Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate jobs with outside services, such as subcontractors, and management
- Organize equipment, material and labor to complete projects in a timely manner
- Verify accuracy of locates, materials, and billings
- Call in or email locates as needed
- Complete change orders, following procedures, including passing information on to contract administrators and billing department
- Monitor production reports
- Complete final as-builts and tab sheet of units placed
- Complete redlining process
- Support Supervisors and Foreman to monitor and enforce all company and outside required safety policies and procedures
- Assist supervisors in the management and retention of new and existing employees
- Monitor and complete the necessary paperwork regarding employee accidents and injuries, in conjunction with the Safety Department
- Maintain and properly document DOT paperwork if required
- Review for accuracy, approve, and submit employee time-cards for processing
- Manage materials using a spreadsheet
- All other duties as assigned
