Job Description

• 3rd Shift : 11 : 00PM - 7 : 00AM, Shift Premium $3 / hour
• Maintain organization's production equipment
• Perform electrical and / or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures
• Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as die cutters, web and sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, bindery equipment etc. using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Install and / or adjust equipment or machinery as needed to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders or other machine shop equipment.
• Install / Inspect / Maintain facility systems including : compressed air, boiler / steam systems, HVAC equipment, vacuum systems, lighting / electrical and plumbing (air / water / hydraulic).
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventative maintenance actions as assigned through either paper, verbal or electronic work-orders.
• Upon troubleshooting, provide recommendations regarding the extent of repair(s) required, materials and / or parts necessary and estimated time to complete repair.
• Include PLC Work

Qualifications

General knowledge of setting up and operating machine tools such as small lathes, milling machine, drill presses and precision grinders to manufacture component parts or re-machine existing parts.

Additional Information

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $22.37 to $32.84 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to : education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. Hours : 3rd Shift - 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM with a shift premium of $3.00 / hr.
