Responsibilities

• Program PLCs effectively and efficiently.
• Read and edit schematics accurately.
• Work with vision systems and potentially Siemens PLCs.
• Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Engage actively in a manufacturing automotive environment.
• Demonstrate teamwork and proactive initiative in project execution.

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing automotive setting, where the main floor lacks air conditioning and can be loud and somewhat dirty. The position operates on the first shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, with flexibility for weekend work if necessary. Travel is limited to loyal suppliers and local customers, with optional trips to locations such as Lansing. The facility values long-term employees, with families working there since the 1980s. All training requests are honored, providing opportunities to gain experience on various systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 / hr.
