Cox Automotive is hiring a Manager Process Improvement, Record to Report.
The Manager - Process Improvement - Record to Report, Finance Process Center of Excellence (CoE). This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager. Business Process Design & Improvement (BPD&I) - BlackLine, Record to Report and Chart of Accounts Governance within the Continuous Process Improvement team and serves as a partner by engaging with business stakeholders within the company to anticipate business needs and drive strong decision making through implementation of process improvements / best practices, acquisition integration, continuous improvement, metrics, and end-to-end process governance.
This position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of centralized Cox Automotive Enterprise Finance & Accounting (EF&A) Accounting Center of Excellence (ACoE) process excellence. The Record to Report scope includes Journal Entries, General Ledger, Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Project Maintenance and Reporting. This position will focus on process centralization, standardization, and optimization across policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls. This role will also support key strategic initiatives and will build a culture of continuous process improvement within the EF&A Record to Report functions. This position will also help to meet Cox Automotive's strategic goals by developing plans, driving objectives, collaborating with business stakeholders, and aligning appropriate resources.
The ideal candidate will have continuous process improvement, change management, project management, governance, and communication experience.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead day-to-day activities of the R2R process excellence function, including the management / supervisor of 3 process improvement Senior Analysts
- Responsible for identifying best practices, efficiencies, and strategic methods to optimize people, process, and technology solutions across the EF&A functions
- Building and supporting the deployment of the ongoing roadmap of integration solutions
- Ability to plan, organize and manage complex projects, often with cross-functional teams
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop project plans, schedule resources, monitor and report progress, resolve issues, mitigate risk and deliver organizational change
- Ensure the prioritization and balance of integration activities to minimize disruption of the existing business of the acquired company
- Identify opportunities for AI and automation to enhance processes.
- Help to embed an approach to ongoing continuous process improvement, including an end-to-end process assessment strategy, as well as tactical resource and implementation planning and delivery approach
- Review and provide feedback for all process standards : data, reporting, systems security, compliance, financial controls, change management and process excellence
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives for end-to-end process solutions
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and / or Accounting with 6+ years of accounting or finance experience. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience. Compensation :
Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
