Get to Know Your Team :

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of sub-specialtygroups.

    • Responsibilities

  • Order and pick up medications from Pharmacy. Stock carts with needed medications. Require knowledge of generic and brand names for all pharmaceuticals. Maintain medications within their expiration date and properly dispose of expired medications
  • Stock and clean all assigned areas daily. Stock, clear and replace all anesthesia equipment and supplies as necessary
  • Participate in room turnover assuring minimal downtime between cases
  • Perform decontamination of areas after each case. Remove and replace anesthesia circuits and suction. Change soda lime canister as needed
