Technical Sales Engineer at Weir Minerals — St. Louis, MO (onsite).
Purpose of Role
Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for accurately selecting equipment, preparing proposals, and promptly entering orders. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Specification Review : Review customer technical specifications and commercial terms to align with Weir's offerings.
- Commercial Terms and Conditions Review : Accurately select equipment based on RFQ package information, considering hydraulic requirements and material properties.
- Equipment Selection : Prepare and submit formal quotations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proposal Preparation : Accurate proposal creation within our ERP system.
- Order Inquiry : Provide technical support to customers and internal sales personnel, troubleshoot issues, and assist with technical applications and proposals.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Preferred 3 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering in the manufacturing industry.Experience in mining or chemical industry is a plus.About Weir and Equal Opportunity
