Assistant Director of Human Resources - Onsite Position
Position Summary
APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking a professional in Human Resources to join our team and assist with managing the Human Resources Operations to ensure alignment between the business operations and human resources practices, policies and procedures.
This position provides strong collaboration with the HR Department team across multiple areas such as HR leadership and strategy, compliance, classifications, policy, risk management, leave administration, benefits and enrollment, organizational development, employee relations, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Engages with the Executive team and Management on projects and initiatives
- Manages complex, problem resolution support in dealing with performance management, employee relations issues and organizational change management
- Maintains compliance with employment laws and regulations, reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Provides consistent application and interpretation of policies and procedures throughout the company
- Drives the execution of full cycle recruitment plans to ensure the attraction, selection and successful recruitment of potential talents that will further drive the achievement of staffing goals, as well as the business's overall objectives
- Maintains clear and detailed knowledge of industry trends, new technologies in human resources and best practices to attract and retain valuable employees
- Performs other duties as it relates to human resources, as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, masters preferredMinimum of three to five years of previous experience in a similar roleStrategic thinker with business acumenAbility to build relationships and trust with strong skills in coaching and mentoringExcellent conflict management and negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving skillsGood interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to engage with others, establish trust and build solid professional relationshipsThrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges and wants to make a meaningful differenceBenefits
