Description

Maintains and operates the university's high-pressure boilers and steam lines.

• Performs preventative maintenance on cooling towers, chillers, boilers, pumps, valves, and air compressors.
• Repairs seals, gaskets, valves, water and steam lines, pumps, and insulation.
• Records plant operations; performs water tests.
• May assist in asbestos abatement as necessary.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and simple math, and a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience. Must have technical certification or licensing related to the job. All positions require a criminal history check.
