Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatry specialty.

The shift is a 12-hour AM shift.

The role requires a minimum number of years of experience.

The RN will care for patients with diagnoses such as depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Charting will be completed using Meditech.

Scrub color will be determined by facility guidelines.

The unit has 28 beds, including an area for acute patients.

Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Float requirements will be determined as needed based on skill set.

Special procedures include ECT.

Common treatment will involve psychiatric assessment and management.

Knowledge in handling acute psychiatric situations is essential.
