We are looking for Assemblers to join our Greenwood, IN facility on either 2nd or 3rd shift. You will assemble and inspect products prior to delivery.
What You’ll Do :
- Assembles assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with established procedures, standards and blueprint production
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
- Disassembles, re-works or salvages scrap parts
- Operates drill presses, hand drills, clicker press or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation
- May operate forklift upon completing certification requirements
- Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards; Removes small quantities of metal to produce a smooth finish
- Inspects product for quality defects including but not limited to : missing brackets, damaged brackets, incorrect artwork, screw gauges, etc.
