Position Overview

As a Lead Commercial Plumber, you will work with plumbing equipment and blueprints to assemble, repair, and install plumbing fixtures and piping, performing a variety of plumbing tasks to ensure project success.

Job Responsibilities

Interpret specifications and blueprints as needed to complete assigned tasks.

Follow company policies and enforce safety regulations.

Install plumbing equipment, piping, and assemblies at the job site.

Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available to complete projects efficiently.

Analyze and resolve work issues with any assigned Helpers.

Maintain accurate records of your own time and work completed.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience.

Proficient in shop math and skilled with tools, metals, and machinery.

Ability to visualize three-dimensional objects from drawings, sketches, or blueprints.

Perform work within precise limits and standards.

Appropriate journeyman experience.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work with planning calendars.

Flexible and able to perform a variety of duties as tasks change.

Able to rate work information using measurable standards.

Safety Awareness

It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure they have received and properly use all required safety equipment, follow safety protocols outlined in the Safety Handbook, and adhere to all safety instructions.

Physical Requirements

Must have adequate vision (natural or corrected) and hearing, with clear communication using professional standard grammar.

Must be able to use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs; reach overhead; push, pull, and lift.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
