Director of Internship and Training

We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Internship and Training to lead our programs across Massachusetts.
About the Role :
In collaboration with our senior leadership team and the VP of Massachusetts, the Director of Internship and Training plays a pivotal role in developing and mentoring Social Work interns. You’ll provide clinical supervision, oversee the daily operations of our internship program, and help shape the next generation of clinicians.
This position blends leadership, education, and direct clinical work—ideal for someone who values both professional development and hands-on impact.
The Director of Internship and Training will assist in the daily oversight and operations of outpatient, in-home therapy, and therapeutic mentoring work conducted in the internship program. The Director will be responsible for the supervision of members of the intern program, helping compose and approve diagnostic formulations, as well as reviewing and approving clinical assessments and treatment plans. The supervisor will also provide direct care for in-home and outpatient clients with their own caseload.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide clinical supervision to graduate interns
Oversee training and operations
Review and approve diagnostic formulations, assessments, and treatment plans
Maintain a small clinical caseload
Collaborate with leadership to enhance quality, compliance, and program effectiveness
Support ongoing training initiatives and contribute to a culture of learning and growth
Qualifications :
LICSW - Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of Massachusetts is Required
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
Minimum of three years' experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families providing direct treatment services
Proficient with supervision, service delivery and case management fundamentals
Experience in quality management preferred
Training experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus!

Compensation :
Full Time – Salary $75,000 - $85,000 / Year
Hybrid role based in Massachusetts — must be available to travel to program sites as needed.
