Overview Department : Brand Marketing – Global Direct Studio

Reports to : Design Director, Global Direct Studio

Location : North Vancouver, BC

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX :

This Senior Designer role will play an essential part in the creation of global product campaigns within the Global Direct Studio. This includes the concepting and creation of design for all of our owned channels, from dotcom, social, and digital ads to the app and email.

You are someone who has experience with Global scale and reach, understands the consumer journey, and above all has an acute design sensibility. You will also be able to integrate insights, working with the Brand, Marketing, Digital, and Geo teams to inform the work.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work.

Our team of Art Directors, Designers, Photographers, Stylists, and Writers casts a wide breadth of skills. We are comfortable behind the pen, on an exposed ridgeline, and in any global city.

Responsibilities Flexing your creative powers across disciplines, using both graphic and digital design, illustration, and motion to produce inspiring experiences and stories

Being on the cutting edge of the latest developments in the design world—clocking who’s breaking new ground, setting the standard, and utilizing emerging technologies in interesting ways

Concepting designs that have distinction and verve, bringing them to life across our owned channels for Global product campaigns

Creating a global POV for design systems and guidelines that present a compelling, elevated brand expression

Being the voice of the brand function in cross-functional meetings, build rapport and bridges with our internal partners

Building clear, cogent decks that unpack big ideas, and presenting to senior stakeholders for alignment and approval across teams

Owning the full scope of design work; as a core member of the design team, you’ll be trusted with shepherding designs from early concept through iteration and final delivery

Understanding how to utilize feedback, data, and insights to inform creative direction

Collaborating with Global and Geo teams, guiding the work of our external creative partners, and defining the evolving vision for global product campaigns

Future opportunities Discovering new ways for our brand to come to life through the creative process, best-in-class design, and novel concepts

Evolving the design sensibility and systems for our product campaigns through distinct creative that pushes the brand into new and exciting territories

Using design thinking to shape our strategy, build relationships with consumers, and architect their journey

Are you our next Senior Designer, Global Direct Studio? You have a Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field

You have 5+ years of experience in a design role

You have deep experience working on global campaigns

You have expert knowledge in Figma and Adobe Suite

You have a keen eye for photography and a deep understanding of how a perfect image can elevate and enhance a visual composition

You are able to work in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment

You can set a clear vision, work autonomously, and get cross-functional partners on board

You are a tastemaker, and can create work that is both beautiful and on brand

You have a natural affinity to curiosity and love exploring the possibilities of the unknown

You possess a confident ease in making impactful and sound decisions

Your passion for work is matched by your passion for getting outside

Salary and Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$94,000 - CAD$117,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and / or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
