The Lead QA Engineer will oversee quality assurance processes, including manual and automated testing, to ensure software reliability and performance. The role requires strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and CI / CD, with a willingness to adopt tools like Katalon Studio. The candidate will develop and execute test plans, integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines, and continuously improve QA practices. Collaboration with development teams and stakeholders is essential to drive quality outcomes in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and technical specifications.
- Define and implement test automation strategies and frameworks, integrating tests into CI / CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate programming languages and testing frameworks.
- Execute automated and manual tests, generate detailed test reports, and identify defects for timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance QA practices.
Required Qualifications :
Proficiency in Java and Selenium, with a willingness to learn Katalon Studio.Experience with manual and automated software testing techniques.Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.Proficiency in GitHub for version control.Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins and CircleCI.Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as XUnit and TestNG.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Preferred Qualifications :
