Insurance Verification Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient insurance information and eligibility, contacting physician offices or patients as needed

Obtain and document authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring accuracy in the patient accounting system

Communicate with patients regarding co-insurance, co-pay, and deductible amounts due prior to the date of service

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Experience checking authorizations

Familiarity with CPT codes

Ability to work in a high production environment

Healthcare experience is required
