About the Role :

As a PRN Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide pharmaceutical care, which includes reviewing medication orders, verifying prescriptions, and counseling patients on their medications. Minimum Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacist license in the state of practice.
  • Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Board certification in a pharmacy specialty.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Previous experience in a PRN or flexible work environment.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient medication therapy for efficacy and safety, making recommendations as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
