Position Summary

Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals. Oversight of hospital operations and departmental responsibilities.

Minimum Education

Associates degree in Nursing

Minimum Experience

Previous leadership role at the bedside

Required Registration / License / Certification

BLS obtained within 90 days of hire

ACLS within 12 months of DOH / Transfer

Registered Nursing License

Preferred Education

Bachelors degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

Managerial experience in acute care.

5 years critical care experience.

Preferred Registration / License / Certification

Certification through ANCC, AACN or other specialty
