Overview
Implement leading brand design across all parts of the business by creating, editing and managing content for various online platforms to support marketing goals.
This role blends creative direction and hands-on design execution — you'll refresh our logo / brand identity, standardize visual guidelines, and produce everything from swag and marketing collateral to executive presentations and websites.
Responsibilities
- Implements Marketing and Advertising campaigns; assists with preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
- Plans concept by studying information and materials
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
- Prepares copy and initial art design for all jobs.
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.
- Completes projects by coordinating with outside vendors as needed.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Creates promotional materials and coordinates requirements with graphics with a MAC; insuring all assigned jobs are current and on time and proofing.
- Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising, maintaining research database.
- Responsible for implementing strategies set forth by management.
- Coordinate photo shoots, radio remotes, and live TV spots as needed.
- Produce high profile jobs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; ready trade publications.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
