Laboratory Assistant

Performs routine collection procedures, assists technologists and technicians in Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Histology. Processes laboratory specimens. Coordinates and performs clerical / reception, client / patient / customer related duties pertaining to laboratory testing and relays information between the laboratory, other hospital areas and clients.

This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled.

This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below :

Texas : Levelland

Work Status Available :

Per Diem, On Call -Day

Positions specified as “on call / per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.

Preferred Qualifications :

Laboratory experience

Phlebotomy experience

Medical Terminology

Computer experience to include Windows Excel and Word
