Join us on this rewarding journey where your skills, compassion, and dedication will significantly impact the lives of our patients.\n\nDepartment / Unit Overview\n\nBecome a part of our compassionate Medical Surgical unit, where you will collaborate with a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With a favorable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6, you will be instrumental in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Staffing and Scheduling : Oversee nursing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all units, addressing gaps due to absences or fluctuations in patient acuity.\n
• Resource Allocation : Allocate nursing staff based on patient needs, acuity, and staff competencies to deliver optimal care.\n
• Crisis Management : Respond to emergencies such as patient crises or natural disasters by implementing effective protocols and coordinating with relevant departments.\n
• Communication : Act as a liaison among nursing staff, physicians, patients, families, and hospital administration, ensuring clear information flow and promptly addressing concerns.\n
• Policy Enforcement : Uphold hospital policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.\n
• Patient Flow Coordination : Monitor patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain efficient bed utilization and streamline patient care services.\n

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire\n
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire\n
• One year of nursing experience preferred\n
