Description :

The LVN at LGTC Group - Willow Glen RTC plays a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our adolescent clients going through eating disorder treatment in our 24 / 7 facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all patients receive timely medical attention and support, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery. The LVN will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans and monitor patient progress. Additionally, this role involves educating patients and their families about health management and treatment options. Ultimately, the LVN will help create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes healing and comfort for all clients.

  • , we are looking for on-call, part-time, or full-time LVNs with the following shifts open :
  • Monday and Sunday AM shifts (7-3 : 30PM)
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday PM shifts (3-11 : 30PM)

Responsibilities :

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Aid the milieu counselors on the floor and assist with bathroom observations and cleaning tasks
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a residential treatment center or similar healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of mental health nursing practices.
  • Knowledge or experience with eating disorders
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish or other languages.
  • Experience working with teenagers

    Requirements :

  • Need to be fully licensed
  • Need 2-4 years experience, preferably in the mental health field
  • Need to be availability to work PM shifts (3-11 : 30PM) or Sunday / Monday AM shifts (7-3 : 30PM)
  • Psychiatric experience a huge plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Reliable and able to commit to a set schedule for a minimum of six months
