About The Position

🚨 Full-Time Pediatric Hospitalist & Medical Director

📍 Location : 95023 – Hollister, CA

We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to serve as Medical Director for a hospitalist practice in a beautiful semi-rural community just minutes from Monterey Bay. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide newborn care, emergency consults, and pediatric admissions in a collaborative, supportive environment.

🩺 Job Description :

Lead and oversee the pediatric hospitalist practice as Medical Director 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Provide coverage for high-risk deliveries 🤰

Conduct emergency room consults for pediatric patients 🚑

Manage pediatric admissions for low acuity cases 🏥

Provide well newborn care in the hospital nursery 👶

Collaborate with an affiliated Level-III NICU for newborns requiring intensive care, including transport coordination 🚼

Work a full-time schedule consisting of twelve 24-hour shifts per month with on-call responsibilities from home 🕒🏠

Support a hospital with approximately 500 deliveries annually 🎉

  • ️ Requirements :

Board Certified Pediatrician 🎓

California medical license or willingness to obtain 📜

Current inpatient hospital experience 🏥

Clean malpractice and license history ✅

DEA license must be obtained prior to start  💊

Residency within the local area preferred; relocation assistance may be available 🚗

Not accepting Locums or visa candidates 🚫
