Job Description

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty : OR - Operating Room
Discipline : RN
Duration : 13 weeks
40 hours per week
Shift : 8 hours, days
Employment Type : Travel

Clinical Skills / Responsibilities

Surgical procedures :

Ortho : total joint replacement, spinal fusions, laminectomies, ALIF, XLIF

General surgery : appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair

GYN : D&C, hysterectomy

Urology : nephrectomy, prostatectomy, TURP

Craniotomy (emergency)

Da Vinci robotic procedures (Si, SP, Xi systems)

Requirements

Experience :

Minimum 2 years OR experience (first-timers accepted if strong OR skills)

Strong ortho and Da Vinci XI robotics experience required

License : RN must be in hand prior to start date

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred

Charting : Cerner experience required
