Material Control Specialist

BAE Systems is seeking a Material Control Specialist (MCS) to join its organization on 3rd Shift - 10pm - 6 : 30am. Responsibilities include :

• Handle all aspects of material handling functions including but not limited to receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory in the warehouse and other store locations within the plant.
• Open containers using hand tools.
• Counts, weighs, and samples materials.
• Utilize computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information.
• Handle the loads and unloads of materials onto or from pallets, trays, multi-level racks, and machines by hand.
• Loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand or with equipment.
• Operate equipment inclusive of forklifts (electric or diesel powered), pickers, and pallet jacks (electric or manual).
• Follow all departmental material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements while putting safety as a top priority.

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
