Trial Paralegal – Downtown Miami

Start ASAP | On-Site | Long-Term Contract w / Temp-to-Hire Potential

A highly esteemed downtown Miami law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal for a long-term contract assignment starting as soon as possible.

This is an on-site position that could become permanent if it’s a great fit for both sides.

The firm would like someone who can commit through at least November 21st, with the possibility of extending or transitioning to a permanent role.

About the Role :

You’ll be working closely with a dynamic team of trial attorneys, handling complex litigation matters from start to finish. The firm values professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting cases in and out of the courtroom.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage cases from filing through trial, including depositions and hearings
  • Prepare and organize trial binders, witness files, and exhibit lists
  • Review, organize, and summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery materials
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and pleadings
  • Coordinate and manage large-scale document productions
  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and vendors
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date case files
  • Provide daily case updates and trial support to attorneys

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in complex commercial or civil litigation
  • Strong trial preparation experience is required (trial attendance a plus)
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
