Job Description
A respected regional healthcare provider is conducting a confidential search for a Rehab Services Aide to join its Physical and Occupational Therapy team. This role supports therapists in delivering safe, high-quality patient care and ensures smooth operations across therapy service sites.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physical and occupational therapists with patient care under direct supervision.
Prepare patients for treatment, take vitals, and monitor equipment function.
Document patient interactions, insurance prior authorizations, and communications in the electronic health record (EHR).
Maintain clean and safe patient-care areas and perform required equipment calibration tasks.
Manage supply inventory and assist with equipment maintenance.
Travel among local therapy sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED or 5 years of relevant work experience.
MediClear Certification (or equivalent healthcare compliance credential) required.
Ability to stand and walk constantly; lift / push / pull up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain alert and safety-focused at all times.
No prior healthcare experience required—training provided.
