Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Microbiology – Full Time | Northern Arizona Region

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze clinical specimens using standard and specialized laboratory and microbiology techniques
• Perform culture work, organism identification, and sensitivity testing
• Prepare media, reagents, and maintain lab supplies
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments; perform quality control and preventive maintenance
• Document results, ensure accuracy, and troubleshoot abnormalities or instrument issues
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in all lab procedures
• Work collaboratively with laboratory staff; maintain accurate records and reporting
