Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT – NICU)
Location : Annapolis, MD
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)
Job Responsibilities :
Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a NICU and acute care setting.Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation.Perform and assist with neonatal intubation, bubble CPAP, HFNC, and BiPAP / CPAP setup and monitoring.Draw, analyze, and interpret arterial and capillary blood gases.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-specific respiratory care plans.Support emergency and critical care procedures including resuscitation and transport.Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately within the EMR system.Ensure all respiratory care procedures comply with safety and infection control standards.Required Skills & Experience :
Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (required)Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, including strong NICU experiencePediatric experience and certification requiredBLS certification (required)Proficiency in neonatal and pediatric respiratory techniques, including ventilation and airway managementStrong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary teamAbout HonorVet Technologies
