Position : RN-BMT-Bone Marrow Transplant Pediatrics (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy and other treatments to pediatric bone marrow transplant patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Engage in performance reviews and set personal growth goals.
Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Utilize data and metrics to track patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Assist in the management of patient pain and discomfort.
Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Experience / Qualifications
Current RN license in Georgia with pediatric nursing experience.
Proven experience in administering chemotherapy and managing pediatric patients.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and personal growth.
Ability to monitor and report patient vitals accurately and promptly.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and patient safety regulations.
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients and families on treatment plans.
Experience in utilizing data to track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Experience in managing patient pain and providing comfort measures.
Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
