Marketing Specialist – Commercial Lines
A leading insurance agency is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their Commercial Lines department. This role is responsible for the marketing and binding of new business and renewal accounts, working closely with the commercial team to deliver strong client service and effective placement of coverage.
Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Interact daily with clients and Account Managers.
- Determine which carriers or wholesalers to approach for quotes.
- Submit applications for quotes through email or online portals.
- Follow up with carriers to obtain quotes and identify additional information requirements.
- Act as liaison between Account Managers and clients to gather requested information.
- Prepare and present formal quote proposals for client review.
- Handle marketing for accounts with a focus on construction coverages.
Ideal Qualifications
Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.Minimum of 3 years’ experience marketing commercial insurance accounts within an agency setting.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with agency management software preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.Compensation Package
