Must-Have :

Cath Lab and IR experience required.

Traveler experience accepted for first-time travelers.

Skills in scrub and circulate procedures, telemetry, and previous STEMI call experience required.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be addressed on-site.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could lead to cancellation.

The unit will accept candidates with a minimum of two years of experience.

All staff is required to practice a weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services.

The lab provides coverage for urgent / emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.

Staff will participate in 24 / 7 call coverage for STEMI, emergent, and urgent procedures.

Call requirements include weekdays from 4 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM and weekends from Friday 4 : 00 PM until Monday morning.

Expected patient ratio during shifts is 1 : 3-4.

The equipment utilized includes various systems for interventional radiology and invasive cardiology procedures.

The department focuses on invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures.

Call time for STEMIs is 30 minutes; call time for interventional radiology is determined based on the procedure type.

The team consists of three staff members, which includes one registered nurse.

Candidates may float within the hospital based on skill sets and patient census.

Floating is common and should be accepted without restrictions.

Candidates must work two out of three major holidays.

No RTO is allowed during the first week of assignment.

A compact nursing license is acceptable for submission.

Completion of modules is mandatory prior to the start date.
