Journese, the premier luxury travel brand of Pleasant Holidays and one of the largest travel wholesalers in the United States, is seeking experienced Destination Specialists to join our team.

Our curated portfolio features the world's most coveted destinations the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, South Pacific (Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Zealand & Tahiti), Japan, the United States & Canada, and luxury cruise vacations worldwide. You'll help create tailored, high-touch travel experiences using our exclusive collection of resorts, tours, and premium services.

This full-time hourly position is designed for travel professionals with deep destination expertise, refined service skills, and a passion for luxury travel. As a Luxury Destination Specialist, you will work in a queue-based environment, assisting travel advisors and their discerning clients. Your role is to deliver expert guidance, personalized recommendations, and polished service that reflect the sophistication and exclusivity of the Journese brand.

Primary Duties :

  • Provide refined luxury travel consultation to travel advisors and their clients, showcasing destination and product expertise
  • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries through phone, email, and system queues
  • Recommend curated travel experiences, highlighting our premier luxury resorts, tours, and services
  • Anticipate needs and suggest enhancements that elevate and personalize the client experience
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of luxury destinations, properties, promotions, and travel trends
  • Handle multiple high-value reservations simultaneously with precision and discretion
  • Provide back-up support to fellow Destination Specialists during peak demand periods, maintaining consistency in service excellence
  • Collaborate with Product teams to identify and strengthen partnerships with global luxury brands

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience in luxury travel, premium hospitality, or as a Destination Specialist
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional service in a refined, luxury-focused environment
  • Strong consultative sales expertise with a focus on tailored luxury recommendations and curated travel experiences
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional presence
  • Highly organized, with the ability to support complex, multi-destination itineraries
  • Proficiency with reservation systems and business applications; adaptable to new tools
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated, while thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to retain, synthesize, and organize extensive system, destination and product knowledge
  • Availability to work variable shifts including weekends
  • Compensation starts at $19.00+ per hour including paid training, with commission eligibility and unlimited earning potential, and most Destination Specialists earn between $60,000$110,000 annually.
