🩺 Position Overview : Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift\n📅 Start Date : ASAP (contingent on completion of onboarding requirements)\n💼 Employment Type : Full-Time, Contracted via Agency\n💲 Pay Period : Monday – Sunday\n\n🕒 Schedule : \nShifts : 3x12-hour night shifts per week\n\nHours : 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM\n\nWeekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n\nHoliday Rotation : Yes\n\n🧠 Job Summary : \nAs an RN at JCHC, you will provide total patient care using the nursing process—assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. You will also guide patient education and supervise ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.\n\n✅ Qualifications : \nGraduate of an accredited nursing program\n\nActive Iowa RN License\n\nCertifications Required : \n\nBCLS (AHA)\n\nACLS (AHA)\n\nExperience preferred but not required\n\n📋 Pre-Employment Requirements\nAll documents must be submitted 5 business days prior to the contract start date. Failure to do so may delay onboarding.\n\nEmployment Documents : \nResume\n\nTwo recent employment references\n\nOnline license verification (showing expiration & any disciplinary actions – within 30 days of start)\n\nBLS & ACLS – AHA (front and back copies)\n\nOther applicable certifications (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC if held)\n\nHealth Requirements : \nImmunization Records : \n\nMMR : 2 doses or positive titers\n\nVaricella : positive titer or 2 doses\n\nPolio vaccine\n\nHepatitis B : full series, titer, or signed declination\n\nTDaP (within past 10 years)\n\nCOVID-19 vaccination\n\nFlu vaccine (if working Oct 1 – March 31)\n\nTuberculosis Clearance : \n\n2-step Mantoux within 1 year or QuantiFERON Gold\n\nIf positive : documentation of positive result + chest X-ray\n\nPhysical exam – within 1 year of start\n\n10-Panel Drug Screen – within 30 days of start\n\nRespirator Fit Test – within 1 year (JCHC can provide if unavailable)\n\nBackground Checks (within 30 days of start) : \nCriminal background (all states of residence / license / work in past 7 years)\n\nNational and State Sex Offender registries\n\nGSA (SAM.gov) / EPLS\n\nOIG exclusion check\n\nTraining & Education : \nIowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child & Dependent Adult Abuse)\n\nIf not certified, will be assigned in CareLearning module – must be completed prior to start\n\nCompletion of CareLearning education modules (Instructions provided post-acceptance)
