Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position in Oregon requiring prior travel experience and current BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the NICU of a children's hospital
  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Requires two Saturdays and two Sundays per six-week period
  • At least one holiday shift required during the assignment
  • On-call required based on unit needs
  • Travelers may be required to float within the site and across the system as needed
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space
  • Scrub colors may be any color except black or camo
  • Mandatory floating within facility and across system may be required when needed
  • No more than 7 days of RTO allowed per assignment and none in the first week
  • Holiday coverage is required for at least one holiday during the assignment

    • Requirements

  • Active OR RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application and fingerprints
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Applicants cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Must complete all assigned education within one week of assignment start
