The Role The Director of Recruitment will oversee end-to-end recruitment execution across CAA, ensuring timely, high-quality hires that align with business goals. This role leads geographically dispersed recruiting teams, drives operational excellence, and partners closely with business and HR leaders to deliver a data-driven, scalable, and inclusive hiring strategy.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor recruiters, coordinators, and managers across regions.
  • Own full life-cycle recruiting delivery for all business units, including Executive Search.
  • Translate workforce plans into actionable recruitment strategies aligned with company growth.

Operational Excellence

  • Optimize recruiting processes and service levels to ensure efficiency, speed, and quality of hire.
  • Use Workday and other tools to track and report key hiring metrics.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to forecast and deliver against hiring plans.
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior business and HR leaders.
  • Ensure regular feedback loops with hiring managers to refine processes.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment COE on operations, sourcing, market intelligence, and branding.
  • Align with Early Careers team to support consistent engagement across business groups.
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

  • Champion a world-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Inclusion

  • Embed inclusive practices into every stage of recruitment.
  • Monitor pipeline diversity and collaborate with internal partners to support Inclusion goals.
  • Qualifications

  • 812+ years in recruiting, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role managing a business-facing recruitment function.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-functional recruiting in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Executive Search experience, including up to C-suite level.
  • Expertise in sourcing, pipeline development, and process optimization.
  • Proficient in ATS / CRM systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building inclusive and high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing global recruitment vendors at scale.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling recruitment in mid-sized enterprises (1,000+ employees).
  • Familiarity with international hiring regulations and multi-region recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of global talent market trends, particularly in entertainment.
  • Background in technology recruitment on a global scale.
  • Location This is a hybrid role that may be based in our New York or Los Angeles office.

    Compensation The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $195,000 - $247,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
