- Carry out daily nursing functions in compliance with company policies and state, federal, and local regulations\n
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with proper documentation of care and services provided\n
- Support and orient new residents and their families to the facility\n
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections as scheduled\n
- Ensure delivery of high-quality care, positive clinical outcomes, and resident / family satisfaction\n\nClinical Skills & Competencies\n
- Specialized Care : NG tube insertion, placement, irrigation; colostomy care; Foley catheter care; straight catheterization\n
- Tube Feeding : Setup and monitoring of feeding pumps, intake / output calculations, dietary compliance, weight monitoring, abdominal assessments\n
- Patient Care Techniques : Positioning, transfer assistance, range of motion (ROM) exercises\n
- Emergency Response : Oxygen administration, suctioning, CPR, glucometer checks\n
- IV Therapy : Site care, saline lock management, mixing / hanging / administering IV solutions, infusion pump operation\n
- Advanced Procedures : Suctioning (tracheotomy, nasotracheal), tracheotomy care, gastrostomy care, sterile techniques\n
- Lab & Infection Control : Specimen collection, isolation procedures, and infection prevention\n\nQualifications\n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico or compact state eligibility)\n
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills\n
- Compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality patient care\n
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required\n\nRequirements\n
- Current & valid US RN license in the state of the facility location\n
- BLS upon hire\n
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)\n
- Able to handle pressure, multi-task, and prioritize\n
- Previous work experience, preferred\n
- Working knowledge of electronic health records, preferred\n
- Must be willing to work in New Mexico\n\nBenefits\n
