Mechanical Design Engineer

Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer in Torrance, CA.

Incredible opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Torrance that is making a real impact. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about innovative design and thrives in engineering analysis and testing to ensure product durability.

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will :

Launch new products from concept to manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to take your understanding of materials and tolerancing to design for manufacturability. This is an opportunity to design, test, and work with vendors to ensure a successful product launch.

• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks / PLM
• Conduct and / or support engineering analysis, simulation, and physical testing to ensure
• the strength, durability, and safety of product designs.
• Create and manage detailed BOM readiness planning including cost, mass, and timing
• Collaborate with suppliers to proactively resolve technical issues to ensure on-time and

quality first articles and production

This is a Full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

Salary : $95K-$120K / per year
