job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor systems (ideally RADAR) in integration and test or operation and maintenance; or defense industry experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance. Willingness to work dedicated 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift for up to a year. Preferred : experience with RADAR and / or Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) integration and test; experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment; programming in C or MATLAB; scripting in Python or Tcl; experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
Overview
Seeking System and Test Engineers to support on-site, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program. Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space. Basic understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS; programming and scripting skills; and working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute test scripts to verify Software, Hardware, and System requirements for Space applications.
- Support on-site AI&T activities on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift as part of a production Space Payload program.
- Apply knowledge of RF systems and RF test equipment to support test and verification activities.
