EDU Healthcare is hiring a Special Education Instructional Assistant fluent in ASL to work full-time, 1 : 1 with a middle school student with cognitive impairments. This is a short-term, school-based assignment supporting communication and academic success. Join our team and make a meaningful impact this semester!

Responsibilities :

Assist teachers with daily instructional activities and classroom management

Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, including those with special needs

Help implement and reinforce individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher supervision

Monitor student progress and share feedback with the classroom teacher

Prepare classroom materials and maintain a positive, organized learning environment

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

Perform other related duties to enhance the learning experience

Qualifications :

Associate’s degree or college coursework in education preferred

Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents

Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators
