Primary responsibilities :

  • Travel to DATTCO locations to install / troubleshoot 12 volt and 24-volt electronics (cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios) on DATTCO and / or customer vehicles
  • Accurately record and report information regarding installs / repairs
  • Responsible for ordering and controlling inventory levels
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Drivers license
  • Previous 12v / 24v installation and service experience
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts such as GPS, relays and video systems
  • School bus / coach bus experience preferred
  • Availability to work weekends / overnights / overtime as required
  • Technician will be required to supply their own tools for this position
  • Must possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks
  • Must possess excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be a self-starter
