Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for students in grades K-12 within a public school setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to support a diverse caseload of students with various speech and language needs.

Location : Galion, OH (Service area includes Mansfield, Bucyrus, and Fredericktown.)

Assignment Duration : August 14, 2025 May 28, 2026

Part-time : 37.5 hours per week

School Year Contract

Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive communication strategies
  • Monitor and report student growth and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Qualifications :

  • Valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Experience working with school-aged children and various speech and language disorders
  • Ability to manage a mixed caseload efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a school environment
  • Commitment to supporting student success through evidence-based practices
